Parties! Meetings!
Hello All!
Lots to announce today:
There's going to be a BBQ on Friday, September 5th at 5:30 at the Creamery Square, hosted by Paperny Films! If you live in Tatamagouche and want to come meet the crew, please join us for some burgers and pop.
There will be a men's meeting at the Legion on Sunday at 3PM. If you have any interest at all in taking part in the community project, please join us. They need all the help they can get.
Ladies:
A few logistical points about the trip:
- Remember, you’re only allowed one suitcase each.
- On Sunday, please bring your consent forms, or else you're not getting on the bus. If you need an extra, please go to Customer Services at Foodland. There will be a stack there.
If you haven’t given us your activity forms, please drop them off in the lobby of the Balmoral Hotel.
If you had signed up to go on the trip, and got a call from us saying you were on the bus, but WEREN’T at the meeting on Tuesday, (AND haven’t yet spoken to Laura yet) please call Laura at 657-3072, or email her at lamack79@gmail.com.
Bring a colourful umbrella on Sunday. It looks like rain!
Here is a rundown of the schedule:
9AM – Lady’s, come to the Legion with your papers, and check in with production reps. Hand them your forms. This is very important. You won’t get on the bus if you don’t have your signed release. At this time, you’ll find out what bus you’re on.
10:30-12:30 – We begin shooting the March of the Women. During this we ask that all those who wish to watch carefully listen to the production crew about where you can stand.
12:30 – Load buses.
13:30 – Buses roll out of town.
If you are being dropped off, although Main St. will be closed, we will be allowing cars in for drops offs at the civic lot behind the Legion. The preferred arrival route would
be down maple / queen to the Legion where our PA's will let cars doing drops-offs through.
Thanks for all of your cooperation these past few weeks. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday at the Creamery!
